The Flo-Bee
Is it possibly true what they say, “if our hair is allowed to grow it will eventually stop growing?” There has to be something to that. All hairy mammals, except humans never cut thier hair. It grows just so far and stops. It grows a little thicker in winter and sheds when the weather warms up. I have two dogs that shed 24/7 yet the hair stays the same length. Some mammals have shorter hair than others. Some have more hair than others and yet it’s the same length.
Why is it that the hair growing out of a mans head and face, if uncut, will grow down below his waist, yet the hair on his arms and legs never grows over 1/2″ to 1″ long?

Prelude to Gadgets
I thought it would be helpful to the reader/s if I could “share” my thought and feelings about “gadgets” before I start to talk about the gadgets I have or will acquire. It has been said that “necessity is the mother of invention.” That is only partly true. I believe it goes far beyond necessity. Necessity really does not apply in modern civilization. Necessities are summed up in a short list of, “I need food, I need air, I need water, and I need protection from the environment.”

Beanie Weanies
I’m not talking about just your average household Beanie Weanies. I’m talking what I would consider “Gourmet” Beanie Weanies. There are a few things I feel are very important that will make all the difference in the world if you really want good tasting Beanie Weanies.

Stowaways.
I just seems like pets are with us for such a short part of our voyage in life. This was brought home to me with the inevitable loss of Tiger. Our family cat. When pets are with us for as long as she was they become a part of the family.
Here I will record events and thoughts about my/our pets passed and present as I recall them and experience them.

Blogs vs Forums
Even when the old dog wants to learn a new trick they tend to try using what they have already learned and apply it to the new trick even though the new trick has nothing to do with the old trick, and the dog gets that frustrated confused look behind his muzzle. I have to remember that, for the most part, my blog is a “forum” of one…me and basically, about me and my thoughts on things. I am not very good at talking about myself. But I digressed. I want to figure out how to configure the opening page with some features I liked in the forum I have observed. I will need to discuss some of these ideas with the admin. and perhaps show him what I am trying to do.
But so far it has been fun trying to come up with category names and sticking with the theme. I think I have done pretty good. In a way it is making me sit down and take stock of all that is going on in my life and what and who is important to me and all that. Not a bad thing. Nobody said life would be smooth sailing.

Here I will journal my observations of the process of aging…in a humorous view. Well when I start aging I will post my observations here. Uh, okay, now what was I going to say? Lets see…dagnabbit! I hate it when this happens.

If you’ve been by the house anytime over the past several years you may have noticed there are some much needed repairs, updating and redecorating that needs to be done inside and some more landscaping and yard work outside. Well, here I will make note of any progress…or not, on said projects.
