Read often…do often.
A good friend of mine sent this to me.
I just want to tell my children how much I love you, I am proud of each of you, I appreciate each of you for your unique and special qualities. I want you to know I am and always will be here for each of you when you need me. You are always in my prayers.
To my friends I want you to know how much I appreciate the times you have been there for me. I love you for that and offer what I can of me to be there for you. You are always in my prayers too.
Thank you all for being you.

I surrender.
I have concluded that I am not supposed to submit comments to posts.
On two occasions I have spent time composing comments on posts. Rather insightful ones at that. And when I click on submit.. ZAP!.
It is lost forever. Can I compose in “Wordpad” then cut/paste to the comment box so if it gets lost from the blog I at least still have a copy?

Remote Control
There was a time in the early years of my life when the phrase “The Good Ol’ Days” meant, to me at least, the days before my time. Before I was born that is.
And I was having conflicting feelings about that phrase when I was thinking about the subject of this post.. remote controls. You see, I was just a kid back in the 50’s and 60’s and a remote controlled something meant that there was a string or wires from the object to be controlled and the operator. And when it came time for mom or dad to watch television and wanted the channel changes or the volume adjusted, I was their remote control.
